EDO ORODION - FIRST EDO LANGUAGE NEWSPAPERS
By Chief Osarogie Egharevba, Sam Eguaevoen, Louis O. Enobakhare, Charles Aghayere, Oyenmwen Adadevoh, etc.
The newspaper faded out of production many years ago because Edo people do not practically patronize or invest in the development of Edo language. We all chant "wa gia ze Edo" with loud voice but backed out when it is time to invest into the development and spread of the language.
For years I have been pleading for financial support to enable me write a standard Edo language dictionary but who cares?
